Ranking logic
Methodology
The ranking method looks for cross-source credibility, visible blockchain specialization, and signs that the team can actually deliver across the chains buyers care about.
Methodology
Web3Rating is intentionally source-heavy. We use public directory evidence, visible service mix, and blockchain-specific delivery signals to sort firms that look genuinely capable from firms that simply sound current.
The goal is not to reward the loudest pitch. It is to surface firms that still make sense when you look at chain coverage, technical depth, and the quality of the public record.
- Cross-source evidence matters more than any single directory score.
- Visible blockchain specialization beats generic software language with a token page bolted on.
- Tie-breakers favor technical breadth across Ethereum, EVM chains, Solana, tokenization, smart contracts, and real protocol-adjacent work.
- Buyer usefulness matters: we rank for who looks most credible to hire, not who has the noisiest listing footprint.
